why does china make defective products and blame the country that bought their products?

Can I sue Microsoft for continuously sending me defective products?

My warranty ended on November 7, 2007. They say that I must pay 100 dollars to have it repaired, which is completely asinine, as it is their fault for sending me a defective refurbished product.
Any way I can scare them with a threat of me suing them?
I actually have quite the pocket of change, and yes I do think I can scare them.
